UFO’S: ARE THEY FOR REAL?

Ezekiel 1:1 “Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth [month], in the fifth [day] of the month, as I [was] among the captives by the river of Chebar, [that] the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.”
This vision took place in the thirtieth year, the fourth month and fifth day of the Babylonian captivity.

Ezekiel 1:2 “In the fifth [day] of the month, which [was] the fifth year of king Jehoiachin’s captivity.”.
The fifth day of the month just happened to also be in the fifth year of Jehoiachin’s captivity. He was king only 3 months and 10 days before Nebuchadnezzar captured Jerusalem. He was imprisoned for 36 years before he was released.

Ezekiel 1:3 “The word of the LORD came expressly [privately] unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans [Babylonians] by the river Chebar; and the hand [Spiritual power] of the LORD was there upon him.”
This was undoubtedly written by his scribe because of the first and second person usage of I and him respectively.

Ezekiel 1:4 “And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind [like tornado (ruach; a Spiritual apparition of the Almighty] came out of the north [God's domain; see Isa. 14:13], a great cloud [angelic host], and a fire infolding [originating from] itself, and a brightness [glowing] [was] about it, and out of [proceeding from] the midst thereof as [like] the color of amber [highly polished bronze], out of [protruding from] the midst of the fire [of the Almighty; the consuming fire]“.

Ezekiel 1:5 “Also out of the midst thereof [came] the likeness [appearance] of four living creatures [space ships]. And this [was] their appearance; they had the likeness [appearance] of a man [intelligence].”
There were four crafts; each looked alike.

Ezekiel 1:6 “And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.”
They each had the same appearance.

Ezekiel 1:7 “And their feet [landing gear] [were] straight feet [in line with the ship's body]; and the sole of their feet [pads,] was like the sole of a calf’s foot [cloven; divided]: and they sparkled [glistened] like the color of burnished [highly polished] brass.”

Ezekiel 1:8 “And [they had] the hands [support structure or struts] of a man under their wings on their four [individual] sides; and they four had their [own] faces and their wings [each individual craft looked the same]“.

Ezekiel 1:9 “Their wings [were] joined one to another [solid structure]; they turned not [didn't bank] when they went; they went every one straight forward [remained level as they maneuvered]“.

Ezekiel 1:10 “As for the likeness of their faces [appearances, standards, flags], they four had the face of a man [adamic man; Reuben; south], and the face of a lion [Judah; east], on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox [Ephriam; west] on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle [Dan, north].
Signifying all the earth is under God’s watchful eyes.” (See Rev. 4:5-7; nothing is hidden from God.)

Ezekiel 1:11 “Thus [were] their faces [appearances]: and their wings [were] stretched upward; two [wings] of every one [were] joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.”
The wings of each craft pointed upward; with the tips touching or joining to form an inverted V (/\); while the other two wings covered their bodies. This configuration was specially designed to carry or transport God’s throne.

Ezekiel 1:12 “And they went every one straight forward (remained level): whither the spirit was to go [directed], they went; [and] they turned not [leaned or banked] when they went.”

Ezekiel 1:13 “As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance [coverings] [was] like burning coals of fire [glowing embers], [and] like the appearance of lamps [flickering or blinking torches or lights]: it went up and down among the living creatures [moving lights]; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning [streaks of lightening].”
This would be similar to the flashings of the Tesla coil.

Ezekiel 1:14 “And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.”
They moved with unimaginable or lightening speed.

Ezekiel 1:15 “Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel [a spinning circular vehicle] upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces.”

Ezekiel 1:16 “The appearance of the wheels and their work [how they were fashioned] [was] like unto the color of a beryl [yellow jasper?]: and they four had one likeness [they looked alike]: and their appearance and their work [how they were fashioned] [was] as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.”
An object that can whirl, whisks from place to place, can hover and does not bank when it turns or changes directions.

Ezekiel 1:17 “When they went, they went upon their four sides (they remained in a flat or level configuration): [and] they turned not (did not bank) when they went [as they moved from one position to another].”

Ezekiel 1:18 “As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings [were] full of eyes round about them four.”
The eyes represent windows or portholes; therefore, the rings show that the windows completely encircled the top of the vehicle.

Ezekiel 1:19 “And when the living creatures went, the wheels [circular landing pods] went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up. ”
They were attached to the vehicle in a vertical configuration as landing pods seen on moon landing craft.

Ezekiel 1:20 “Whithersoever the spirit [jet propulsion direction] was to go [the blast], they went, thither was their spirit to go [a blast off]; and the wheels were lifted up over against them [remained attached to the sides]: for the spirit of the living creature [was] in the wheels.”
This indicates that the exhaust blast exited around or near the circular landing pods as we see today.

Ezekiel 1:21 “When those went, [these] went; and when those stood, [these] stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature [was] in the wheels [where the blast was visible].”
This describes a space vehicle much like the pictures we see today. The vehicle did not separate into various pieces, but remained intact.

Ezekiel 1:22 “And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads [a head covering] of the living creature [was] as the color of the terrible crystal [a clear hood providing visibility to the pilot], stretched forth over [covered] their heads above.”
Like a bubble type windshield with 360 degree view.

Ezekiel 1:23 “And under the firmament [were] their wings straight, the one toward the other: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their bodies.”
The craft’s flight and control surfaces which directs its flight path.

Ezekiel 1:24 “And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters [jet propulsion], as the voice of the Almighty [supernatural], the voice of speech, as the noise of an host [like a loud multitude]: when they stood [landed], they let down their wings [were brought down by the control and flight surfaces].”

Ezekiel 1:25 “And there was a voice from the firmament that [was] over their heads (like a loud speaker), when they stood [landed], [and] had let down their wings.”

Ezekiel 1:26 “And above the firmament that [was] over their heads [was] the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne [was] the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.”
The Almighty [who also looks like mankind whom He created in His own image]; sat upon a throne which was above the vehicles. Apparently, the four vehicles flew in close formation, carrying the throne of God.

Ezekiel 1:27 “And I saw as the color of amber, as the appearance of fire round about and within it [the throne], from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about [glowing like a fluorescent or neon light].”

Ezekiel 1:28 “As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so [was] the appearance of the brightness round about. (A confirmation of God’s Covenant with Noah and mankind). This [was] the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw [it], I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.”
This vision, without a doubt, describes in some detail what we know today as flying saucers or space ships. What Ezekiel saw, however, was God’s throne being carried by four space vehicles — designed to not only travel in space; but to also obey the laws of flight in earth’s atmosphere as well. Satan has the ability to replicate these vehicles;
therefore, what we are hearing about today (and many claim to have seen since 1947) could very well be the angels of Satan invading the earth in preparation for his appearance.
And why 1947? Is this date a bench mark? This is the year that the State of Israel was carved out of Palestine by the United Nations. It was declared a sovereign State in May 1948! Joel was given a preview of the times before Messiah; which Peter understood by announcing its beginning in the Church age at Pentecost, (Acts 2:16-20).
Are we seeing some of these signs today? A close look at the happenings around the world, as well as in the sky, should convince any serious Bible student. Think on the Scriptures Peter quoted; then reflect on our knowledge of the mushroom cloud of the atom bomb; the world wars, the vapor trails left by jet travel today without seeing an aircraft.
If someone had seen one such vapor trail in a vision having to do with the end; which we now know is left by jets, would not he have said “signs in the sky”? What about our space shuttle reentry; a glowing trail that looks like a comet, which I’ve witnessed with an awesome reflection on prophecy? What about the lunar eclipses of ’96? I’m afraid that many “signs” are today explained away and accepted as an everyday occurrence or a scientific phenomenon.
What about the comet Hale-Bopp? Well, maybe yes; maybe no. We are continuing to watch these things closely. I trust this humble offering will help bring a little more insight into what Ezekiel actually saw. Will Satan come to earth in like manner? Most probably; because he wants to be like the Most High in order to garner the world’s population to accept him as Christianity’s Christ and Israel’s Messiah! Yes, he will be quite successful as we are warned. What should we look for? Deception! Deception! Exactly as Jesus warned in Matt. 24:5 — including false prognosticators.
